All the way from New York to Old. MOSCOT is a five-generation, family-owned brand headquartered in New York City.

The brand was established in 1915 by Hyman Moscot who arrived in the States from Eastern Europe via Ellis Island, and originally began selling glasses from a pushcart in Manhattan’s famed Lower East Side, where the brand is still headquartered to this day.

While now recognised as a global fashion brand, MOSCOT remains – at heart – a neighbourhood optical shop, just like us. And that’s why we love them.

The MOSCOT Mobileyes Foundation – founded by current CEO Dr. Harvey Moscot – seeks to preserve sight and improve lives by providing free quality medical eyecare and eyewear to New York City’s underserved populations. They have provided over $1.5 million worth of glasses to their US healthcare community.

Footprint and Manufacturing

Designed and prototyped in New York City, all MOSCOT eyewear is handmade using the highest quality materials, real hardware, and hinges that are riveted through the temple and frame fronts to ensure the sturdiest construction possible. In their very own New York City labs, MOSCOT carefully inspect every frame before dispensing, assuring the best quality and fit.
